Wow, stars and loves both!

Yesterday we dropped off a 'hit and run' flower and card for my Daddy :) and while on the way there we drove past an old friend's house from way back when my children were first born!  I haven't seen him in years and years and I looked up his name, found his number and gave him a call.  I hope he returns it so I can catch up.  Then to my surprise this morning when I opened my email I found that my best friend from high school, who I've been trying to find for years, was on FB and she had (I didn't know it was her for sure) answered my message (that I sent off weeks ago :) and it was her!!  She requested a 'friend' and so  now I just have to wait for her to answer my email so her and I can catch up.  I lost track of her shortly after high school (never let your partner take such control of your life that you lose touch with all that made you who you were - a lesson it took many years to recognize) and saw her for one brief evening at our 10 year reunion. I am SO excited to get the chance to catch up with HER!  Then as I was perusing her friends, to see if I could find another of our friends from school, I found him!!  He was the best artist I have ever known and I found out why I hadn't been able to find him, I was looking for someone here in Tacoma, he has moved far away.  But he immediately accepted my friend request, so now I am, hopefully, going to be able to catch up with him!  He was always so awesome, I am so blessed to have had such good friends back in the day, and I am just now realizing how fortunate I was. :D and how foolish I was to let them go :(
